   In 1971 Bob Herman started working as an operator for Doug Wolcott. A back injury forced Doug out of business. Bob and Arna bought the business in July of 1973 and named it Bob Herman Excavating. In 1979 WYCO Construction Inc. was born specializing in earth moving residential, agricultural and also building Husky Built Barns.

   In 1980 Bob stopped building barns and turned his attention to a new field of expertise, Septic Pumping.

In 1984 he bought an old septic pumper truck. With his new found focus the next 10 years were spent working with hired men until in 1994 when his sons Matt & Mark joined him to become part of the family business.
