About Wyco Construction

In 1971, Bob Herman started working as an operator for Doug Wolcott. A back injury forced Doug out of business. Bob and Arna bought the business in July of 1973 and named it Bob Herman excavating.

In 1979, Wyco Construction was born specializing in earth moving residential & agricultural and also building Husky Built Barns.

In 1980, Bob stopped building barns and turned his attention to a new field of expertise

In 1984 he bought an old septic pumper truck. With this new found focus, the next 10 years were spent working with hired men until in 1994 his sons Mark and Matt joined him to become part of the family business.

Wyco really started to grow at this point. Wyco hired Joe Solpietro in 2001 as an heavy equipment operator & truck driver to help handle the ever-increasing workload. Wyco then hired Todd Kilner in 2007 to take on the same responsibilies.

All of these events have made Wyco what it is today... Wyoming County's Premier excavation & pumping business!
